Ben Lee and NK Architects recognized by Carrier Clinic at 7th Annual Kindred Spirit Gala

Each year Carrier Clinic honors individuals, companies, and organizations for their significant accomplishments in the field of mental health. Each honoree has made the world a more humane and compassionate place for those struggling with mental illness and their families.

 

This year, Ben P. Lee, AIA, and NK Architects were presented with the Kindred Spirit Award at Carrier Clinic’s 7th Annual Kindred Spirit Award Gala, held on November 19, 2016 at the Princeton Forrestal Marriott.  In presenting the award, Donald J. Parker, President and CEO of Carrier Clinic, noted thatNK has worked with and supported Carrier Clinic for many years, always delivering excellent service.  Under Ben Lee’s leadership,  NK was described as the masterminds behind the beautiful design of our new buildings…we are grateful for Ben’s vision and creative design.”  Mr. Parker also stressed the superior design qualities and attention to detail provided by Ben and his team in the design of Carrier’s new wings and for their ongoing professional support over the years to help create a space that is both safe and healing in nature. “It takes special people to champion the cause of behavioral health, and our honorees are among the most special champions in bringing down the walls of stigma,” said Parker.
