NJBIA Good Neighbor Awards

The New Good Neighbor Awards are sponsored by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association to recognize the best and most exciting commercial and industrial development projects in the State of New Jersey. Winners are chosen based on economic benefit and job creation, architectural merit, and community involvement.

NK Architects was recognized as the Architect of two award-winning projects at the 55th annual New Good Neighbor Awards luncheon held on June 5 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township: Sandvik U.S. Corporate Headquarters and Hudson County Community College Library Building. Allen Kopelson, David Kimzey, Walter Nieczkowski and Ralph Rosenberg of NK Architects, as well as team members from Sandvik, Inc., Hudson County Community College and Mast Construction attended the event.

The 31 nominated projects were narrowed down to 12 winners, chosen not only for their architectural merit but also for their economic benefit, job creation and community involvement. In total, the nominated projects comprise more than $391 billion in development investments and created nearly 5,000 jobs.
